Trauma Counselling in Port Coquitlam & Vancouver

Trauma-informed care in English and Farsi, at a pace that feels safe for you.

Is This You?

Painful experiences can stay with us long after they end. They can show up as fear, numbness, trouble sleeping, or feeling on guard all the time. You don't have to make sense of it alone.

You might be experiencing:

• Memories, nightmares or flashbacks that feel hard to control

• Feeling on edge, easily startled, or disconnected from yourself

• Avoiding people, places or conversations that bring it back

• Difficulty trusting others or feeling safe in relationships

• Shame or self-blame about what happened

How I Can Help

Our work starts with safety and trust. We go at your pace, and you decide what to talk about and when. I draw on trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches, including CBT, ACT and Emotion-Focused Therapy, to help you understand your reactions, calm your nervous system and rebuild a sense of stability.

I also bring a culturally sensitive lens. Many of my clients are newcomers or have lived through displacement or loss, and your background and values are part of the conversation. You can speak in English or Farsi, whichever feels most natural.

What to expect: In the first sessions we get to know each other, talk about what brings you in, and set goals together. You never have to share more than you're ready to.
