Build focus, structure and self-compassion. In person in Port Coquitlam and Vancouver, or online across BC.
Is This You?
ADHD can affect attention, time, emotions and relationships. Many people also carry years of feeling "lazy" or "not trying hard enough." Counselling can help you understand how your mind works and build strategies that fit your real life.
Support for adults:
• Managing time, deadlines and follow-through at work or school
• Getting organized at home without burning out
• Handling frustration, overwhelm and emotional ups and downs
• Easing the shame and self-criticism that often come with ADHD
• Improving communication with a partner or family
Support for teens:
• Focus, study habits and keeping up at school
• Managing big emotions and frustration
• Building confidence and self-understanding
• Working with parents on routines and communication at home
How I Can Help
We start by understanding your strengths and the specific challenges you face. Using practical, evidence-based tools drawn from CBT and ACT, we build simple systems for focus, planning and emotional regulation, and adjust them until they actually stick. You're welcome whether or not you have a formal diagnosis.
What to expect: Sessions are practical and kind. For teens, I involve parents where it helps, while keeping a safe space for the teen to speak openly. Sessions are available in English and Farsi.
